My wife Ava and I have served in church staff ministry positions since 1987 with two different churches (both assignments approximately 9 years a piece) in the North Houston area. In January 2006 we took the step of faith to start a new work by answering the call of God to pastor in Willis, Texas and The Light Community Fellowship was born! God loves people and so do I. I want to see people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and progress from there into discipleship where growth and application of our Christian faith is experienced. I want to help people realize that God has a good plan for their lives and He has given the gift of the Holy Spirit to equip the believer for the work of the ministry and enable us to live out His plan. I want people to be strengthened in their relationships, from our family interactions to those in business, school or any other environment. Our relationship with God, family and others are very important. Ava and I have been married since 1984 and are blessed with two children, Ryan and Hannah.

I count it a privilege to be able to serve people and shine the light of God's love, salvation and power to them. It is my prayer that everyone in our community has an opportunity to walk in The Light (The Knowledge of God) and enter into fellowship with God. At The Light, it is our goal to continually add new ministries and outreaches as to create more opportunities for you and your family to get involved.
