Karen serves as the Children’s Pastor here at The Light. She has served in children’s ministry for over 20 years in various churches in Louisiana. Her service in children’s ministry has ranged from tending the nursery to community outreach teams. Karen is married to Brandon Bourg and has three children: Annalise, Miles, and Liam. She has a love for teaching and reaching the hearts of children. She graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education, and has seven years experience as a teacher.

Karen loves to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys hunting, fishing, hosting gatherings, and attending LSU football games. Karen loves the Lord and His children.
