Pastor Mark Baxter

Pastor Mark oversees benevolence, chaplaincy, counseling, funerals, weddings, hospital ministry, in-reach/ out-reach ministries, meals, missions, prayer chain, and prayer team. Mark has a Bachelors in Christian Studies as well as a Masters of Ministry from St. Stephens University. He has been in ministry for over two decades and was a former church planter/senior pastor in California. Mark has been married to his beautiful wife Karen since 1997. They have two adult children and four incredible grandchildren. He loves to see the Kingdom of God in action as he proclaims and demonstrates the power of the Palestinian healing Jesus. When you meet him, you will find out right away that his desire is to see people set free, and you won’t part from his presence without hearing: “HOW CAN I PRAY FOR YOU?”

You might see him teaching from the pulpit or on deeper life Wednesday, at our once a year KAIROS ministry or at a men’s breakfast, dinner or annual men’s retreat.

He serves under Judge Wayne Mack as a Chaplain for the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Chaplaincy program. This ministry helps families in the community during times of loss and/or need.

Hobbies:

Mark loves God’s creation as he enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking. If you were at his home, you might encounter him barbecuing and smoking various types of meat. His nickname is: Food Pastor. He also loves to participate in various sports, such as basketball, golf, and tennis.
